The Township of Clearview Committee of Adjustment has delegated authority to consider Minor Variance and Consent applications pertaining to lands within the Township. The Planning Department ushers these applications through the application, notice, hearing, and appeal period process. The Committee of Adjustment generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month. For each application, proposals are considered by the Township Planners and an opinion is written into a report for the consideration of Committee. Comments submitted by agencies, internal staff, and members of the public are included in this assessment. Ultimately, all decisions are at the discretion of Committee.
If you wish to comment on an application being heard by the Committee of Adjustment, we invite you attend the hearing and/or to put your thoughts in writing for the Secretary-Treasurer.
