Domaine Batteaux Distillery and Winery

The applicant is proposing a Zoning By-law Amendment (2018-022) that would rezone a portion of the lands from the Rural (RU) and Residential Hamlet (RS) Zone to the Agriculturally Related Commercial Exception (AGC-XX) Zone, to permit a Distillery and Winery on a 4.7 hectare parcel of land located at 226 Batteaux Road.

The proposed Distillery and Winery would consist of the following:

  • Entrance from 36/37 Sideroad
  • Approximately 5 acres of vineyard
  • 2 acres of fruit trees
  • A 400 square metre building housing the production facility, tasting and sales room, office space and washrooms
  • Parking Lot (22 spaces)
  • Loading Space
  • A septic system
  • A drilled well
